Sharon Beeching has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sharon started their career as an Account Coordinator at Foote, Cone & Belding, where they managed various activations and charity exhibition events. Sharon then moved on to work as a Creative Director at Radio Vision International, where they designed and produced promotional materials for global television music programming events. Sharon also reduced costs by bringing production in-house.
Following this, Sharon worked as a Production Coordinator at Sunshine TV - PBS "On Tour", coordinating production for a music series. Sharon then freelanced as a Production Designer/Set Decorator for commercials and music videos, overseeing the department budget and designing/building sets.
In 1991, Sharon entered the film and TV production industry and worked as a Producer/Production Coordinator. Sharon was responsible for hiring crew members, supervising production assistants, and ensuring shoots stayed on schedule. Sharon also managed various aspects of production, such as arranging meals and transportation, ordering equipment and supplies, and reconciling petty cash.
Moving forward, Sharon worked as an Office Manager/Practitioner at Encompass Wellness, where they managed the day-to-day operations of a wellness clinic and taught healthy living workshops. Sharon then joined CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) as an Assistant Site Manager and later became a Deputy Site Manager. In their role at CORE, they facilitated site operations, pursued process improvement, and focused on enhancing the patient experience.
Sharon then joined Color as a Field Operations Lead, acting as a point of contact for teams operating testing, vaccine, and special events sites. Sharon also served as an Assistant Site Manager and later became a Marketing Events Manager. In this role, they played a key role in rebuilding the Events program from the ground up after Covid, creating a diverse portfolio of events and reducing related costs.
Currently, they are working as a Marketing Events Manager at Smartcat, providing consulting services for participation in conferences and managing logistics for trade shows and client dinners. Sharon also advises and manages the production of booth elements.
Sharon Beeching has a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the College of Health at Oregon State University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including "Intro to Incident Command System" and "Leadership and Influence" from FEMA, "Covid-19 Courses" from the World Health Organization, "Covid-19 Contact Tracing" from The Johns Hopkins University, "Disaster Mental Health" and "Social Vulnerability and Disasters" from the Natural Hazards Center, "Covid-19 Compliance Officer" from Health Education Services, "CPR/AED/First Aid" from the American Red Cross, "Covid-19 Compliance" from Safe Sets International, and "Certified Reiki Master" from the International Center For Reiki Training in India.
