Daniel S.

Daniel S. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Daniel started their career in 2009 as a Production Manager at the Hawaii Shakespeare Festival. In 2010, they worked as a Lighting Director at Army Community Theatre, where they handled productions such as "A Chorus Line" and "Highschool Musical 2."

From 2010 to 2012, Daniel served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Daniel then joined the Hawaii Shakespeare Festival again in 2011 and 2012, this time as a Lighting Designer.

In 2014, Daniel moved on to International Convention Services / ATTCO, where they worked as a Technician and Production Electrician. Daniel then joined Smart City Networks in 2016, first as a part-time Technician and later as a full-time Data Operations Professional.

Currently, Daniel holds a position as an Operations Manager at Smart City Networks, which they assumed in February 2019. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in operations management, data operations, technical roles, lighting design, and production management.

Daniel S. completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre and Dance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they studied from 2000 to 2008. Daniel then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre/Theater at the same university, completing their degree from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel S. obtained several certifications. These include "Customer Service Foundations," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," "Effective Listening," and "Working with Upset Customers" from LinkedIn, all obtained in January 2020. Daniel also completed "How to Present and Stay on Point," "Leadership Blind Spots," "Leadership Foundations," "Balancing Multiple Roles as a Leader," "CCNP Routing (300-101) Cert Prep: Network Principles," "Having Difficult Conversations," "Leadership Foundations (2013)," "Managing Technical Teams," "Operations Management Foundations," and "Project Management Foundations: Teams" from LinkedIn, all obtained in November and December 2019. Additionally, Daniel S. obtained several certifications related to Cisco and MikroTik networking, including "Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation," "Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core," "MikroTik Certified Network Associate," "MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer," and "MikroTik Certified Security Engineer," all obtained in 2020.
