Lav Agarwal

Lav Agarwal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lav is currently the CEO & Founder of SmartClean, a position they have held since January 2017. Lav is also the CEO & Founder of Eternia, a role they took on in June 2023. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Lav was a Research Scholar at Nanyang Technological University from August 2012 to October 2017. During their time at NTU, they also served as the President & Co-founder of the EEE Graduate Students' Club from July 2014 to June 2017. Before their work in academia, Lav was a Sales and Marketing Engineer at ABB from May 2011 to July 2012. Lav began their career as an Entrepreneur at Caplet Pharmaceuticals from June 2004 to June 2006.

Lav Agarwal completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology, and Research Academy, which took place from 2006 to 2010. Lav then pursued further education at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2012 to 2025. In addition to their academic pursuits, Lav Agarwal also engaged in MOOCs and Coursera courses in Business and Entrepreneurship Studies from 2012 to 2015. Lav further earned a certification in Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) from Duolingo in January 2016.
