Dylan Warren Raffa has a diverse work experience in the field of agronomy and agriculture research. Dylan started their career as an Intern at Promotion of Production and Consumption of Olive Oil in Nepal, where they conducted market research and collaborated with stakeholders to assess the potential of olive oil production in Nepal. Dylan then worked as an Agricultural Consultant at Agrifolia Studio Associato before joining CATIE as an Intern, where they conducted surveys and investigated socio-economic aspects in coffee farming systems.

In 2013, Dylan worked as a Junior Researcher at Wageningen UR, where they analyzed the effects of crop residue management on soil fertility and crop production. Dylan'sfindings were published in Biomass and Bioenergy. Dylan also worked as an Associate Consultant at COSPE Onlus during the same year.

From 2014 to 2018, Dylan served as a Consultant in various divisions of FAO, including the Plant Production and Protection Division (AGP) and the Climate, Energy and Tenure Division (NRC). In these roles, they provided expertise in plant production and protection and contributed to climate and energy projects.

Dylan pursued their PhD at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna from 2017 to 2021, where they conducted research in their field of expertise. After completing their PhD, they joined SmartCloudFarming as a Lead Agronomist in 2019, taking on a leadership role in the company's agronomy department.
