Shane Armani

Shane Armani is an experienced executive in business development and strategic alliances, currently serving as the manager of Worldwide Business & Strategic Alliances at Smartcom since September 2006. In this role, Shane maintains direct relationships with global Mobile Operators, wireless device manufacturers, and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Smartcom, Shane served as Chief Operating Officer at FALCOM GmbH from 2003 to 2006, where responsibilities included establishing a new subsidiary in the USA to enter the Americas market. Shane's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Business Development at Sierra Wireless from 2001 to 2003, focusing on alliances with Telecom Operators and manufacturers in the Americas for GSM/GPRS and CDMA technologies. Additionally, Shane was General Manager and COO at 3JTech Co. Ltd. from 1997 to 2000, overseeing the design and manufacturing of modem and security products and engaging with government agencies on security solutions.
