Shannon Posey

Shannon Posey has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles related to environmental, health, and safety management systems, as well as project planning, plant operations, and safety management services. Shannon served as Vice President & Managing Director of SmartConnect and Vice President of Technical Services at CertifiedSafety, leading the design engineering, software development, component procurement, device assembly, testing, and certification and market launch of a RTLS based Connected Workforce solution. Posey also directed EHS and Risk Management program of a $500 million business unit and led the development and implementation of a comprehensive Environmental, Health Safety, and Risk Management System specific to power generation and delivery while working as Corporate Director EHS and Risk Management at TRC Companies, Inc. Shannon also served as General Manager of Remediation Strategies and Corporate Health and Safety Director at TRC. Shannon started their career at Tennessee Valley Infrastructure Group, Inc. as a Director of EHS services. Currently, they are the President and CEO of SmartConnect | Connected Workforce Solutions.

From 1990 to 1994, Shannon Posey attended Troy University where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Remediation Design, Engineering, and Construction.
