Riz Ahmed

Riz Ahmed is the CEO of SmartCrowd and the founder of EqualEd Charity, focusing on education innovation and global learning communities. They serve as an Advisory and Decision Committee Member at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund, supporting education innovations and EdTech start-ups in the UAE. With a strong background in the education sector, Riz previously held roles as Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at GEMS Education. Riz has an Executive MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard Business School, among other qualifications.
