Michael Eskin

Michael Eskin has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 1985 as a Programmer at Megahaus, where they developed Macintosh desk accessories and Visio-like structured graphics applications. Michael then moved to Brooktree in 1989, where they were a Principal Software Engineer working on a graphics controller chipset called "BtV". In 2009, they became an iOS App Developer at AppCordions.com, where they developed iPhone and iPad apps emulating various instruments. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Software Architect Emeritus at SmartDraw Software, LLC, where they were the lead developer of the initial version of VisualScript and the lead developer on many plugins for Atlassian Jira and Confluence. Finally, from 2005 to 2009, they were a Distinguished Engineer at Conexant Systems, where they worked on the hardware architecture, device drivers, and middleware for PCI and PCI Express-based analog and digital TV broadcast receivers for Windows Media Center.

Michael Eskin obtained a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from San Diego State University between 1987 and 1991. Additionally, they obtained a BS in Math/Computer Science from San Diego State University between 1978 and 1983. Michael also holds a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, which they obtained in February 2021, as well as a Private Pilot's Certificate - Single Engine Land from the FAA.
