Son Le has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Data Scientist at Smarter Sorting, where they developed machine learning classifiers and deep learning models using various frameworks. Son also worked as a back-end software engineer using Python Flask and Ruby on Rails.

Prior to that, Son held the position of Head of Engineering and Data Science at Dandy from 2018 to 2019.

From 2014 to 2018, Son was self-employed as a Software Engineer, and before that, they worked as a Research Associate at FBR in 2014.

In 2013, they worked as a Research Analyst at Barclays where they built financial models and conducted regression analysis.

Son also served as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University in 2012, where they conducted statistical analysis on data sets and handled large databases for research purposes.

In the same year, they worked at IDG Ventures Vietnam and IDG Ventures Vietnam - MX Online Payment Corp as a Technology Venture Capital Fund intern and a Project Manager respectively, where they conducted market research and led the development of a business plan.

Son Le completed their education at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Mathematics, with an Honors track. They also pursued a Study Abroad program at the University of Melbourne, where they completed coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Statistics. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Economics from Georgetown University.
