Alexandre Matos has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Alexandre started their career as an Administrative Worker at Amadeu Alves Vilas Boas Lda, where they maintained and organized billing documents and delivered documents to external entities. Following this, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Quantal Group, where they gained experience in automotive component production and observing various manufacturing processes.

Alexandre then worked as a Research Student at the wbk Institute of Production Science, where they focused on their Master's thesis, analyzing the dynamic load of an industrial robot and dimensioning a corresponding modular structure for a novel production system.

After that, Alexandre joined MI-GSO | PCUBED as a Delivery Coordinator, managing a team of 10+ consultants working for different clients. Alexandre ensured the consultants' development and took necessary actions. Alexandre also worked as a Project Management Officer at MI-GSO | PCUBED, supporting the Management Teams of two different car models within Stellantis, a multinational corporation in the automotive sector. Their responsibilities included elaborating R&D forecasts, monitoring and controlling expenditure, tracking project development, and proposing schedule adjustments.

Currently, Alexandre is working as a Mechanical Field Engineer at Smartex.ai, where they apply their mechanical engineering skills in the field.

Alexandre Matos completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, starting in 2016 and graduating in 2021.
