Alon Lavi has a long and varied work experience. Alon began their career in 1997 as a Math, Physics and Computer Science Tutor. In 2000, they took on the role of Team Leader, Software Engineering at Mako Global Derivatives. In 2003, they founded and managed Nanotravel, a subscription-based online service targeting senior business travelers. In 2006, they co-founded and led Technology and Operations of Latto, a leading international developer and provider of centralized cloud-based multi-screen video store solutions. In 2018, they became a Senior Start-Up Consultant and Mentor, providing international consulting and mentoring of IT driven start-ups. Finally, in 2021, they joined Smartex.ai as VP of Project Management and Senior Advisor, providing insights and guidance on Agile software development processes, product building and ongoing operations.
Alon Lavi completed a B.Sc in Computer Science from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) between 1997 and 2000.
