Dean Murray is a senior trader on the OTC trading desk at SmartFi. Prior to joining SmartFi, Dean was with Power Block Coin, Blue Castle Holdings, and the Utah House of Representatives.
Dean’s experience in the public sector includes serving as a Utah State House Representative from January 2004 to December 2008. During their time as a state representative, Dean was appointed to the following committees: House Public Utilities and Technology Committee (Vice Chair), House Retirement and Independent Entities Committee (Vice Chair), Public Education Appropriations Subcommittee, Intermin Revenue and Taxation Committee, and Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee.
Dean’s experience in the private sector includes working as a senior trader on the OTC trading desk at SmartFi. In this role, Dean is responsible for executing trades for clients and managing risk.
Dean is a graduate of the University of Utah and resides in Salt Lake City, UT.
