Bert Baeck is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at Timeseer.AI, a time-series Data Operations (DataOps) software company. Additionally, Bert serves as an Entrepreneur In Residence and Partner at SmartFin Capital, a technology VC/PE fund targeting growth technology companies. Bert is also a Visiting Professor for Data Management & Analytics at KU Leuven. Beyond their leadership roles, Bert is an Investor, Advisor, and Board Director in various companies such as Eneos, Hyperfox, Revend, Qualico BV, Fit & Fresh Belgium, Locatee, and VersaSense. Bert holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Ghent University and a degree in Applied Electronics from HOGENT.
