Lee Smith

Lee Smith currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Alabama Chairman at SmartBank, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, significant experience was gained at BBVA in the USA from 1987 to August 2021, where various leadership positions were held, including Executive Vice President and East Region CEO, Birmingham City President, and roles in Alabama Corporate Banking and Asset Based Loan Administration. Lee Smith holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University, obtained from 1985 to 1986, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Baylor University, earned between 1981 and 1985.
