Jim Gordon is the President of Energy Management, Inc., a company they founded in 1975 to pursue energy conservation and pollution control projects. Under their leadership, the company transitioned to developing electric generation projects and renewable energy facilities, including the two largest biomass electric generation plants in the United States. Currently, Jim serves as the CEO of Smartflower Solar, which manufactures the innovative Smartflower solar energy system. They have been instrumental in permitting Cape Wind, America’s first proposed offshore wind farm, a project that was the focus of both a book and a documentary. Jim continues to pursue advancements in renewable energy and education at Boston University.
