Mel Lynam

Mel Lynam has over 25 years of experience in finance roles. Mel began their career as a Financial Accountant at the Centre of English Studies in 1995. Mel then moved on to become a Financial Controller at Independent Network News Ltd and Independent Radio Sales in 1998. In 2002, they became a Finance Controller at TNT Express, followed by a Financial Controller (Contract) role at Benchmark Electronics in 2005. In 2006, they were a Financial Controller at IT Alliance, and then a Financial Controller (Contract) at Saica Packaging in 2007. In 2008, they became the Head of Finance at Planet Labs and a Financial Accountant (Contract) at Integra LifeSciences. Most recently, they have been the Director of Finance at Smartfrog since 2020.

Mel Lynam completed a Diploma in Professional Accounting at Athlone Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Leaving Certificate from Carmelite College Moate from 1984 to 1989.
