Beth Harris

Beth Harris is the Founder and Executive Editor of Smarthistory, a leading not-for-profit publisher of high-quality open educational resources for art history and cultural heritage. With experience as the Dean at Khan Academy from 2011 to 2015, Beth led humanities content strategy, curated partnerships with cultural institutions, and created impactful educational resources. Previously, Beth served as the Director of Digital Learning at The Museum of Modern Art, where they co-created the successful MoMA Courses Online program. Beth holds an M.A. from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center, specializing in art history.
