Jim Simpson

Jim Simpson is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in quality and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Smartish since July 2025, Jim previously held key roles at ATX Specialty Foods, including Vice President of Operations and Director of Operations from July 2017 to July 2025. Prior experience includes positions at Genesis Today, Inc., where Jim was the Sr. Director of Quality & Manufacturing and Director of Quality, and roles as an Analytical Chemist and Senior Chemist at prominent organizations. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas, a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University, and additional certifications, including Six Sigma Black Belt and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance.
