John Fitzgerald

John Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior IT/AV at SmartLabs since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Apple for five years as an RCC Shipping Investigations/Genius, where they provided superior service and products to customers at the genius bar. John effectively communicated technical terms in a relatable manner to build trust with customers.

From 2018 to 2021, John held multiple roles at Prism Esports, including Head of Talent Acquisition and Head of Operations. In these positions, they managed operations for the esports organization, handled player relations, conducted interviews and hirings, assessed gameplay, and acquired business partnerships and sponsorships. John also gained valuable team management skills while working with professional gamers and influencers.

Before their time at Prism Esports, John worked as a Bartender/Oyster Shucker at Union Oyster House from 2012 to 2016.

John Fitzgerald attended Newton North High School from 2008 to 2012, where they did not earn a degree but pursued a general curriculum. From 2017 to 2022, they attended Northeastern University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
