Dan Ritter

D Ritter is a seasoned professional in the fields of information technology and security, currently serving as the Chief Security Officer at Smartleaf Asset Management since 2015 and previously as the Director of IT/Operations since December 2003. D Ritter has been instrumental in developing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) policies, and successfully implemented tests that prepared Smartleaf for the challenges posed by COVID-19. Prior experience includes serving as a Network Consultant at Akamai Technologies, where D Ritter cultivated partnerships with ISPs for server placements and established BGP connections, and as an Internet Evangelist at GTE, where D Ritter provided technical consulting on networking and security solutions. Education was obtained from Binghamton University.
