Sam Goldberger

Sam Goldberger is currently a Board Observer at Smartlens. Prior to this, they were the CEO and President of Eli Global, LLC's Ophthalmology Division, the CEO of Vision Care Alliance LLC, and the CEO of Rangol Partners, LLC. Sam has also been a Sloan Fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and they have worked as a Senior Clinical Monitor and Strategic Advisor at Privo Technologies Inc. Sam got their start in ophthalmology in 1991 when they became the Owner and Surgeon at the Ophthalmic Facial Plastic Surgery Institute, and they have been working in the field ever since.

Sam Goldberger has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from MIT Sloan School of Management. Sam also has a Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from University of Toronto. In addition, they are a Resident in Ophthalmology Residency Program at White Memorial Medical Center. Sam Goldberger also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Internship from Beth Israel Medical Center and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Furthermore, they have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, General from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lastly, they have certification from AMERICAN SOCIETY OF OPHTHALMIC PLASTIC & RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY in American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology in American Board of Ophthalmology, and National Board of Medical Examiners in Medical Doctor.
