Marketing Manager at Smartling

Luz Gil has a diverse work experience background. Luz started as an Artistic Director at Triple 8 Dance Company in 2011, where they successfully oversaw the production of an annual show and provided counsel to the company's choreographers and dancers. In 2012, they worked as a Public Policy and Public Relations Intern at The Home for Little Wanderers, where they published an article on aging-out youth and presented a literature review on ethical challenges. Luz then served as a Summer of Service EFL Teacher at Princeton in Asia in 2013, where they co-taught daily English classes and led various activities for over 100 students. Later in 2013, they became the Director of CityStep Princeton, where they developed partnerships and gained sponsorship for performing arts education programs. In 2014, Luz worked as a Marketing and Communications Intern at Ella Dynae Designs, managing social media and collaborating with photographers and bloggers. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Marketing Coordinator at PerformLine, responsible for blog writing and social media management. Most recently, Luz worked as a Marketing Manager at Smartling since 2017, where they focused on integrated marketing campaigns, lead nurturing automation, and product marketing and sales enablement.

Luz Gil completed their high school education at Phillips Academy from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Following that, they attended Princeton University from 2010 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in History.
