Stephen Halliday has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries. In 2009, they worked as a Sign Design employee at Signs Studio. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Floor Assistant at Fields Supervalu, Skibbereen. In 2014, they interned as an IT Intern at Glenilen Farm. From 2013 to 2016, they had roles as a Waiter and Kitchen Porter at Milano Pizza Express. In 2016, they worked as a Waiter at The Lookout, Baltimore. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Multimedia and Online Design Intern at Global Executive Events. In 2019, they became a Kayaking Tour Guide at Atlantic Sea Kayaking. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Head Waiter at The Lookout Restaurant. Stephen then transitioned to being a Customer Support Representative at Capita Customer Solutions from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Technical Support Representative at Smartling starting in October 2022.

Stephen Halliday attended Mount St. Michael Secondary School from 2005 to 2011, where they did not receive any specific degree or field of study. Following this, they enrolled at the University College Cork from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Chinese. Later, they pursued further education at Kinsale College of Further Education from 2018 to 2019, specializing in Outdoor Adventure Education within the field of Health and Physical Education/Fitness. Lastly, from 2019 to 2020, they completed a degree in Outdoor Leadership at Kinsale College of Further Education, also focused on Health and Physical Education/Fitness.
