Mikko Nirhamo is currently the Senior Director of Product Design at Smartly, a position held since 2024. They previously served as CXO and Head of Intelligent Customer Experience at Avalon, a Digia Company, from 2023 to 2024, and were the Principal and Founder of zigzag GmbH between 2012 and 2014. Mikko has extensive experience in UI and interaction design, having worked as a Senior UI Designer at Nokia Gate5 GmbH from 1998 to 2008 and as a Senior Interaction Designer at frog design during 2011 to 2012. They began their academic journey at the University of Lapland, where they are pursuing a Master of Arts in Media Sciences.
