Taha Kachwala

Taha Kachwala has a diverse range of work experience, beginning with their current role as Lead Software Engineer at Smartly.io. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Zervant, where they developed services on a micro-services architecture and worked with various technologies such as Clojure, Postgres, Node, and React-Redux. Before Zervant, Taha held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Zapflow, where they contributed to the daily operations and maintenance of their software solution. Taha also has experience as a Full-Stack Developer at Pajat Solutions, where they refactored a Java-based monolith application and transitioned the frontend from Backbone.js to React. In addition, Taha worked as an Intern at CIVIS Project at Aalto University, focusing on backend development using NodeJS and Express. Taha also has experience as a Front-end Developer at White Lioness Technologies and Software Engineer at Vegayan Systems, where they developed web applications and created interfaces for generating reports. Taha's career began as the Co-Founder of YellowKorp, a service-based startup where they developed websites and customized web applications for clients. throughout their various roles, Taha has gained experience with technologies such as MySQL, JavaScript, D3.js, AngularJS, and various AWS services.

Taha Kachwala has a Master's degree in Digital Media and Hypermedia Technologies from Aalto University (2015-2016) and a Master's degree in Digital Media Technology from Delft University of Technology (2014-2016). Taha also has a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from EIT Digital Alumni (2014-2016). Taha obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from K.J Somaiya College of Engineering (2009-2013). Additionally, they hold certifications as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in February 2020, and a certification in Digital Media Technology from EIT Digital.
