Soner Baburoglu

Soner Baburoglu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Soner is currently the General Manager at Tectone Global since 2023. Before that, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer at AirCar, Co-Founder & CEO at SmartOpt, and Founder & CEO at Actonn, all in 2020. Prior to these roles, they worked as a European Sourcing Manager at Shriro Australia Pty Ltd from 2020 to 2023. Earlier in their career, Soner held positions such as Area Sales Manager at Simfer from 2018 to 2020, Territory Executive & Commercial/IT Systems Executive at Philip Morris International from 2014 to 2018, and Foreign Trade, Purchasing & R&D at Vestel from 2008 to 2013.

Soner Baburoglu has a diverse education history. Starting in 1998, they attended SHAPE High School and completed their education there in 2001. Following high school, they enrolled in Ankara Çankaya Milli Piyango Anadolu Lisesi from 2001 to 2004. Soner then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Cyprus International University from 2004 to 2008.

In 2015, Soner achieved a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Soner furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in an undisclosed field from the University of Liverpool between 2015 and 2017.

Soner Baburoglu continued their executive education by attending the Executive P. program at Harvard Business School from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, they participated in an Executive Development Program (Turquality) at Koç University, further enriching their knowledge and skills.
