Quentin Yan

VP, Projects at SmartPixels

Quentin Yan is currently the VP of Projects at SmartPixels. Prior to this, they worked as an Innovation Center Engineer at Thales from February 2015 to July 2015. There, they were responsible for establishing a state-of-the-art object detection / classification algorithm, as well as developing an automatic marine target detection / classification software. Quentin also created a UI / UX with web-app designers. From June 2014 to September 2014, Quentin interned at GESTFORM in their R&D Department. There, they established a state-of-the-art image processing algorithm and developed classifying document software solutions using C++. Quentin then tested the software with ground truth data and implemented it on the production site.

Quentin Yan has a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from emlyon business school, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Zhejiang University, and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Purdue University Krannert School of Management. Quentin also has an engineering degree in telecommunications from ENSEIRB-MATMECA and is certified in Chinese Language and Culture from Fudan University. Quentin Yan is also certified in Introduction to Photoshop from GOBELINS, l'école de l'image and PAC from Skydive Frétoy.
