Bert Wahlen

Bert Wahlen is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the garden industry. As CEO and Founder of Smart Plant Home since July 2017, Bert has transformed the market by creating a new value chain that connects consumers directly with their plants through a comprehensive ecosystem that includes a plant care app and e-commerce solutions. Additionally, Bert serves as Co-Founder of SmartPlant, focusing on the European market and garden centers. Prior to these ventures, Bert founded Garden Compass, which has evolved into SmartPlant, and held leadership positions at Interep and Roslin Radio Sales in the late 1980s. Bert's academic background includes a degree in Marketing, Telecommunications, and Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
