Marcus Forster

Marcus Forster, MHort (RHS), CHort, CMgr (MCMI) is an experienced horticulture professional currently serving as a Senior Horticulture Consultant and Horticulture Technical Manager at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission since March 2020. In addition, Marcus has been a Plant Expert at SmartPlant and the owner of MJF Horticulture since August 2017 and January 2017 respectively, providing expert advice and solutions in the horticulture and arboriculture sectors. Marcus' previous roles include Horticultural Services Manager at Haig Housing from March 2008 to March 2020 and Assistant Clerk of the Course at the Greyhound Racing Association from September 1998 to March 2008. Academic qualifications include a Master of Horticulture from the Royal Horticultural Society, a Diploma of Education in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, and NCH in Horticulture from Merrist Wood College, along with ongoing health and safety training from Ellis Whittam.
