Marc Melvin

Marc Melvin began their professional career as the CTO of Melted Media, Inc. in 2002. In 2005, they became the New Project Lead Developer at Synergistix, Inc., where they developed and maintained SFA software solutions for the life sciences industry. In 2010, Marc took on the role of Senior Developer at Advanced Public Safety (TRMB). In 2012, they took on the role of Senior Developer at FAME Inc. and Vice President of Engineering at SmartProcure, LLC. At SmartProcure, Marc was responsible for developing the front end website, managing cloud infrastructure, providing internal tools and support, and improving and maintaining the custom back end ELT data processing/mining platform. Marc is considered the resident expert on ElasticSearch and Docker. In addition, Marc is the Owner and Consultant at Bytescape.

Marc Melvin attended The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
