Domantas Jurkus

Domantas Jurkus has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2022, they joined Smartproxy as a Node.js Developer. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked at Amazon as a Software Engineer, primarily focusing on building accessible UI components for internal frontends using React, Typescript, Node.js, AWS, and infra-as-code.

Before Amazon, Domantas worked at Skyscanner starting in 2019. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Software Engineer, and from 2019 to 2019, they were a Big Data Engineer.

In 2018, Domantas had an internship as a Software Engineering Intern at Skyscanner. Domantas also gained experience as an R&D Intern at Cooper Software in 2017 and as a Technology Analyst at J.P. Morgan in 2016.

Domantas started their career as a Lead Developer at NomYap in 2015, where they held the position from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, in 2015, they briefly worked as a Frontend Engineer at Clear Returns.

Domantas Jurkus attended the University of Glasgow from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained an MSci degree in Computing Science. After completing their university education, Domantas proceeded to work as a private tutor in Computer Science, starting in 2019, in a position at Superprof.
