Monique Leon, CPA, currently serves as the Vice President and Corporate Controller at SmartRent, a position held since May 2024, after previously working as Director and Assistant Controller. Prior experience includes a role as Manager in Financial Accounting Advisory Services at Embark from November 2022 to May 2024, and Financial Reporting Manager and Technical Accounting Manager at STORE Capital from June 2021 to November 2022. Monique's career began at EY, where roles included Assurance Senior and Assurance Staff from September 2016 to June 2021, as well as Assurance internships. Early professional experience also includes positions as an Accounting Assistant at Arizona State University and a Finance intern at Elizabeth Arden. Monique holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the same institution.
