April Eckstein

April Eckstein is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at SmartSign since April 2025, Eckstein previously held the same position at CORMETECH from August 2023 to March 2025, contributing to initiatives centered on air quality technologies. Prior roles include Human Resources Manager at Bosch Rexroth and Edscha, as well as leadership positions at Gestamp Chattanooga II, where responsibilities encompassed HR management and generalist duties. Eckstein began a career in HR as a Career Service Coordinator with the Southeast Tennessee Development District and has academic credentials including a Master of Public Administration from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor’s degree from Covenant College.
