Gary Turner

Gary Turner is an experienced IT Specialist at SmartSource since June 2018, with a background that includes significant roles in various organizations. As the immediate past Trustee of the Dayton Microcomputer Association, Inc., Gary has held several leadership positions, including President and Computerfest Chairman, contributing to the local technology community through presentations and discussions. Previous experience includes serving as a Mem/vol for the Dayton Amateur Radio Association from 2010 to 2017, and working as a Communication Engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation from 1993 to 1997, focusing on system integration for major Department of Defense projects. Gary began a career in technology as a Programmer at the University of Dayton from 1971 to 1976, transitioning from mainframe to microprocessor programming. Gary holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology from Sinclair Community College, obtained between 2007 and 2010.
