Stephen Bachner

Stephen Bachner, CPA has a diverse work experience in the fields of accounting and finance. Stephen currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Accounting & Reporting at SmartStop Self Storage since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG US where they held roles such as Manager in Audit from July 2020 to August 2021, Senior Associate in Audit from July 2017 to June 2020, and Audit Associate from August 2015 to June 2017.

Before joining KPMG US, Stephen served as Co-President & Analyst of the Student Investment Fund at the University of Redlands from January 2012 to April 2015. Stephen also gained valuable experience through internships at KPMG US as a Summer Audit Intern in 2014, and at Pharmavite as an Accounting/Finance Intern in 2013.

Stephen Bachner, CPA earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Redlands, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), certified by the California Board of Accountancy.
