Chris Smith

Chris Smith has over four decades of experience in the financial technology sector, currently serving as VP Senior Product Specialist at SmartStream Technologies since 1980, focusing on business analysis and software configuration to enhance transaction control and reconciliation processes in financial institutions. Previously, Chris held roles as VP TM Practice, overseeing TLM product implementation, and as a Professional Services Consultant, where expertise was applied in analyzing and implementing solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East. Prior experience includes a decade at Geac as an Implementation Consultant and earlier as an Analyst/Programmer at TI Tube Products. Chris earned a degree in Computer Science and an HND in Applied Biology from the University of Wolverhampton.
