Bitna Kwon has a diverse work experience in management, advertising, and trend advising across several companies. Bitna started in 2012 as a Starbucks Trend Advisor at Sotong and later worked as a Junior Board Copywriter at TBWA Worldwide. In 2014, they worked as an Advertising Intern at INNOCEAN. From 2015-2016, they worked as an App Operations Manager at The Pinkfong Company before moving to the role of Business Development Manager. Bitna then became a Team Lead of YouTube Platform, followed by Head of YouTube Department from 2017 to early 2020. Their most recent role was as the Chief Strategy Officer, where they managed the business strategy and operations of The Pinkfong Company, established growth strategies for new YouTube-based IPs, drove business expansion into new platforms, and led the ongoing commercialization of new IPs. The company achieved notable milestones such as receiving the 50 Million Award and being nominated as one of "TIME’s Most Influential 100 Companies." During their time, they also started the #babysharkchallenge and implemented cross-promotions through strategic partnerships with other channels.
Bitna Kwon obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Yonsei University between 2010 and 2015.
