Theon O'Connor

Theon O'Connor, Ed.D., is a strategic and people-focused higher education leader with over a decade of experience in operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and student-centered services. Previously, Theon held various roles at Georgetown University, including Community Director and Assistant Coordinator, where they fostered relationships between the university and local neighborhoods. As the Associate Director of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Yorkville University, Theon managed compliance and policy implementation while maintaining essential university documents. Currently, they serve as the Director of Communications at SmartTerm and are involved as a fellow at the Black Wealth Club. Theon is pursuing advanced degrees from multiple institutions, including Georgetown University and Western University, and holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
