Eric Owens

Eric Owens has been working in the technology industry since 2005. Eric began their career as a Web Master for Baublitz Advertising at The Wolf Organization in 2005. In 2006, they moved on to become an Online Product Lead at Harcourt School Publishers. In 2007, they began working as the Webmaster and Math Teacher at Kathleen Middle School for the Polk County School Board. From 2008 to 2015, they held the role of Senior Application Developer at Technetium Creative, BMDM Digital Marketing, and Sprint. In 2017, they joined MeTEOR Education as an Enterprise Solutions Architect, where they were responsible for leading the strategic decisions in development and introducing the overall technical vision. In 2022, they moved on to become the Director of Application Technology at SmartTrader.

Eric Owens attended King's College from 2001 to 2005. Eric has obtained three certifications from Lynda.com in 2016, including Advanced Topics in MySQL and MariaDB, Advanced Topics in MySQL and MariaDB, and Understanding SSH.
