Doug Devens

Doug Devens has extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Doug is currently working as the Product Director and Senior Analyst at SmartTRAK / BioMedGPS, LLC, where they have developed product roadmap and strategy for SmartTRAK market research. Prior to this, they founded Aurora Concussion Therapy Systems, Inc. as the Chief Executive Officer, licensing a non-invasive treatment for concussions. Doug also owned Baskatong Consulting, LLC. Additionally, Doug has held positions such as Data Science Fellow at NYC Data Science Academy, Sr Product Development Manager at 3M, Research and Development Manager at Coloplast, Head of Quality Assurance at Northgate Technologies, Manufacturing/Continuation Engineering Manager at American Medical Systems, Component Development Manager at Boston Scientific, and Principal Engineer at 3M. Throughout their career, Doug has demonstrated their expertise in product development, research, quality assurance, and engineering.

Doug Devens completed their undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1988, earning a Sc. B. degree. Doug then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering between 1988 and 1993.
