Shannon Smith Kohn

Shannon Smith Kohn is a seasoned sales and training professional with extensive experience in the outdoor and sports industry. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Sales Manager at Smartwool since December 2017, Shannon manages regional sales across the Rockies and East, overseeing brand-level agency collaboration and an internal sales team. Since March 2005, Shannon has also been a dedicated Snow Sports Trainer and Coach at Vail Resorts, enhancing skiing experiences for clients and training staff. Previous roles include managing and opening successful Patagonia and Icebreaker retail stores, promoting K2 products as a Regional Alliance Team Member, and overseeing operations as Club Manager and Membership Director at Vail Athletic Club, where a notable revenue increase of 156% was achieved. Shannon's foundational experience includes managing a large team at Mt Hood Meadows and contributing to the annual fund campaign at Reed College. Educationally, Shannon holds an MBA with a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management from Colorado State University and a BA in Sociology from Whitman College.
