Amit Kumar Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internal audit and risk management. Currently serving as Vice President & Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management at Smartworld Developers since April 2022, Amit previously held the position of AVP - Global Internal Audit & Risk Management at OYO from January 2019 to April 2022. Amit's career began in the Risk Advisory Practice at KPMG, where a progressive role from Senior Associate to Associate Director was undertaken from September 2009 to December 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Consultant at Axis Risk Consulting and Consultant at Capgemini, along with foundational work as an Articleship & Audit Assistant at Mazars India. Amit is a Chartered Accountant, qualified from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University.
