Karoline Gross

Founder & CEO at Smartzer

Karoline Gross has been working in the industry since 2010. Karoline started their career as a Sales and Marketing employee at Linda Line Oy. In the same year, they founded Blackpearl Pictures LLC, a video production company focusing on documentaries related to the fashion industry. In 2014, they founded Smartzer, a SaaS platform used by brands to make live streams and videos interactive and shoppable to drive sales and capture detailed analytics directly from their videos. Smartzer's platform is used by global brands and agencies including LVMH, Valentino, Dior, Adidas, Brown Thomas Arnotts, Shein, BMW, MINI, and WPP.

Karoline Gross completed a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science with Pharmacology from King's College London between 2006 and 2009. In 2009, they also earned a Diploma in Fashion Design from Central St.Martins, University of London. In 2010, they attended the New York Film Academy. Finally, they completed a Master of Science in Technology Entrepreneurship from UCL between 2012 and 2014.
