Akeem Allen

Akeem Allen is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in consulting, project management, and design education. Currently serving as a Consultant at SMASH since January 2024, Akeem has also founded Nile Studio in 2017. Akeem's previous roles at SMASH include College Director, Alumni Program Manager, and Project Manager from June 2019 to October 2023. Akeem held the position of Project Manager at Pratt & Whitney for a brief period in 2023 and served as a Fellow at IDEO CoLab in 2019. Additionally, Akeem contributed as a Design Instructor for the Inneract Project from 2018 to 2019 and worked at Free Range as a Junior Strategist and Design Intern from 2015 to 2018. Early career experiences include serving as Lab Manager at Babson College's IT Service Department from 2016 to 2017 and as Executive Director of CREED at The Mamelodi Initiative from 2014 to 2016. Akeem Allen earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude, from Babson College, with a focus on Technology, Social Entrepreneurship, and Design.
