Jonathan D. is an education and non-profit executive with over 20 years of experience dedicated to creating impactful outcomes, particularly for underserved communities. Currently serving as CEO of SMASH, Jonathan leads initiatives to provide equitable access to computer science education for students of color. They are also the Founder/CEO of VEER Ventures, which supports innovative learning solutions for communities of color. Previously, Jonathan held significant roles at organizations such as Lone Star College System, Nord Anglia Education, and the National Math + Science Initiative, contributing to the growth and development of educational programs. Jonathan earned a master’s degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University.
