SMASH provides an intensive and holistic computer science-focused education to dedicated students of color who seek equal access to college and career readiness resources.  

Our mission is to build a strong, diverse and socially conscious tech workforce by leveling the playing field through academic learning and experiential engagement for high school and college students.  

SMASH’s two leading programs are:

- SMASH Residential, our flagship program, provides high school students across the nation with a tuition-free, residential educational experience for each of their three summers during high school.  With programs at 5 campuses, SMASH Residential works to ensure that Scholars have the computer science knowledge and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in college and beyond.

- SMASH Virtual is an online platform that provides students early exposure to CS/emerging technology topics and career professionals.
