Tom Ryan

Tom Ryan is a Global Taste Advisor at Jollibee Foods Corporation and a co-founder of Smashburger and Tom's Watch Bar. They earned Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Flavor and Fragrance Chemistry from Michigan State University. Their career includes leadership positions at Procter & Gamble, Pillsbury, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver's, McDonald's, and Quiznos, where they contributed to products such as McFlurries, The Dollar Menu, and McGriddles at McDonald's, and the Lover's Line, Breadsticks and Chicken Wings, Sicilian Pizza, and Stuffed Crust Pizza at Pizza Hut. They founded Smashburger in 2007 and Tom's Watch Bar in 2012, and continue to lead initiatives in taste and concept development in their current roles.
