Amit Kothiyal

Amit Kothiyal is a highly experienced professional in the field of machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at smava since July 2023. Previously, Amit held the position of Senior Data Scientist at smava GmbH from January 2018 to July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute from November 2011 to October 2017, and as a Statistical Analyst at Cranes Software International Limited from 2005 to 2007. Amit Kothiyal holds a PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MStat in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute.
