Stefan Scherer

Stefan Scherer is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in technology and sales. Currently serving as CEO and Shareholder at smaXtec since September 2020, as well as Founder and CEO of 4SmartMachines and International Sales Expert at StrategyHike since November and October 2019, respectively. Prior to these roles, Stefan Scherer co-founded and held the positions of shareholder and CEO at Bruker Alicona until September 2019, where support was provided during the merger into the Bruker group. Additionally, Stefan Scherer has played significant leadership roles in Alicona Corp. and Alicona GmbH from 2000 to 2019. An academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Graz University of Technology from 1997 to 2001, with advanced degrees in Physics and Computer Science from Technische Universität Graz.
