Leigh Barker is an experienced professional in the marine and offshore wind industry, currently serving as a Quayside Coordinator and Tower Team Technician at SMC since January 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Ørsted as a Tower Technician, and Jan De Nul Group as a Tower Team Supervisor and ROV pilot, where significant contributions were made to subsea cable installation projects, notably for the first offshore wind farm in Taiwan. Previous positions at Boskalis and CWind involved extensive work in subsea array cable installations, highlighting expertise in rigging, maintenance, and team leadership. Leigh's educational background includes studies at Isle of Man College and Collegiate High School.
